I think I am in a Hagar moment
I've run away into the wilderness.
I struggle with the task God's given me.
My self-doubt faces me in the mirror.
How can I do this?
I want to obey;
I want to do what God asks.
I write today in cyberspace.
11 I and me words precede.
Doubt no more!
Rely on Christ; seek to know,
"What now, Lord?"
I am also a Haggar type. I can be very strong but my first instinct it to FLEE when faced with a challenge! It took me a few seconds to figure out the “11” at first I thought it was a typing error… but eventually after reading your Psalm several times by “light bulb” kicked on!!
